The jaw crusher is primarily used in mining, metallurgy, construction materials, road construction, and other industries, serving as primary and secondary crushing in aggregate processing. Based on the feed opening width, jaw crushers can be classified into three types: large, medium, and small. Large machines have a feed opening width exceeding 600 mm, medium-sized crushers range between 300 to 600 mm, while small crushers have a feed opening width below 300 mm. This type of crusher features a compact structure, simple manufacturing, stable operation, and easy maintenance, making it ideal for crushing hard rocks with enhanced durability.

The core working components consist of two jaw plates: one is the fixed jaw plate, vertically (or slightly outward-tilted) mounted on the front wall of the frame, while the other is the movable jaw plate, set at an angle to form a tapered crushing chamber with the fixed jaw. Driven by an electric motor via a belt and pulley system, the movable jaw performs a periodic reciprocating motion, alternately opening and closing. When the jaw opens, materials enter the crushing chamber; when it closes, the materials are subjected to compression, bending, and splitting forces, achieving effective crushing.
